Early-20-century solid mahogany Governor Winthrop slant-top desk with serpentine front and ball and claw feet. Desk interior has small drawers, shell-carved door and cubbies. Working brass lock and key and brass hardware.

Composed of four drawers, the front slant piece folds down to form a writing desk and has storage cubbies as well as hidden drawers.
